Our Pony Partners - A Caregiver & Child Barn Experience is a gentle introduction to horses and ponies for young children, designed to build confidence, curiosity, and a love for animals in a safe and supportive environment. Our focus is on safety, fun, and positive early experiences with horses.

This program is designed for ages 6 years old and younger, however, all ages of children and adults are welcome. Older children and adults might prefer our other program, Hoofbeats!, which is designed with adults in mind.

Pony Partners is perfect for toddlers and preschoolers who love animals, children who are curious but a little unsure, families looking for a calm, outdoor activity. No prior horse experience is necessary.

What to expect:

Each class includes a combination of hands-on grooming and care, learning basic horse safety, creating your own unicorn with braiding, adding glitter, or any of the mane & tail decorations provided. Not all unicorns need braiding & glitter… it is your unicorn. The class is finished with a pony ride.

Important Notes:

• One parent or guardian must remain with the child for the entire class.

• Closed-toe shoes required.

• A helmet is required when riding the pony. We ask you to bring a bike helmet when you visit. We do have a few ASTM-approved helmet you can borrow.

• This is NOT a riding lesson.
